Atari Xegs (#1) (Part 1) : Issue with cartridge slot.
After disassembling the massive heavy shielding, I proceeded to reflow and add solder to all the sensitive parts. Power switch, the serial connectors and cartridge port. Hooked up my test rig to it as always. Tested the console with Blue Max cartridge. Its as picky as a front loading original Nintendo. This will not do, and I will need to find a replacement.
Afterwards, a self test was preformed to make sure no other issues exist. This revealed an issue with the keyboard. Letters A through H are non responsive. I will be dealing with this issue at a later date.
