Coco 2: (#1) Black and white image (Part 1)
While attempting to adjust the pot in the RF unit. It was observed that pressure on the pot housing, would temporarily rectify the issue. Assuming the pot was good and was suffering from a cold solder joint. We then de-soldered the rf unit from the mobo. Re flowed the solder and reinstalled on the mobo. This corrected the issue.
Update: February 20th (Part 2), replaced the pot with a series of resistors (2.9K) to achieve the proper value. Then proceeded to do an overall test. Depending on the tv, there is significant static on the audio line. That almost drums out the sound from the game I tested. Additional Research will be required, until another donor or Coco 2 can be found.
